What to Expect
Your Vero Beach water sports experience with Salty's begins at our lagoon-side dock, where our team will check you in, complete your safety briefing, and get you on the water quickly. The Indian River Lagoon at Vero Beach is notably wide and open compared to the narrower sections near Fort Pierce — jet ski riders will enjoy long, uninterrupted stretches of open water with views of Orchid Island's undeveloped shoreline to the east. Boat rental guests can navigate north toward the Sebastian River mouth, where the tidal mixing creates excellent fishing and wildlife conditions, or south toward the Vero Beach waterfront and its sandbars. Guided dolphin tour guests follow our USCG-licensed captains directly to the lagoon's most productive dolphin feeding grounds — the area near Sebastian Inlet is our most reliable spot, where resident pods of 10–25 dolphins are regularly encountered.
