Staying at Voco Sandpiper Bay? Your water sports adventure starts a short walk from your room. Salty's Water Sports operates right from the resort dock on the St. Lucie River, so there's no driving, no parking and no hunting for a marina.
Booking is easy: reserve online with the Book Now buttons on this page, or call (772) 448-4516 to book a jet ski, boat rental or Captained Nature Cruise.
The two must-dos at Voco: a brand-new 2027 Sea-Doo jet ski ride on the St. Lucie River — the newest fleet on the Treasure Coast — and a Captained Nature Cruise, where a local captain takes you up the river to spot dolphins, gators, birds and wildlife while you just sit back and relax. Dolphins are regularly spotted right around the resort, so keep your eyes on the water whether you're riding a jet ski or cruising with a captain. Pontoon boat rentals are also available for families who want to explore on their own.
Kayaks and paddleboards are complimentary for Voco hotel guests — an exclusive perk you won't find at any other Salty's location. Kayak and paddleboard reservations must be prebooked online before coming to the Gazebo. Reserve yours online, then pick it up at the Salty's Activities Gazebo near the adult infinity pool. Crocs or water shoes are required — forgot yours? Grab a pair of cute Salty's water shoes at the Gazebo for $15. They make a great souvenir and you'll wear them long after your trip.
Have questions or need help with your booking? Stop by the Salty's Activities Gazebo near the adult infinity pool at the hotel — our team is happy to help.
Salty's is the Treasure Coast's oldest and most trusted water sports company, with 1,300+ five-star reviews, licensed guides and quick on-site boater licensing for first-timers.
Book online or call (772) 448-4516, then head to the resort dock. Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and a quick safety briefing. Jet ski riders (our most popular resort activity) get a short orientation before heading out on the river; boat guests get a walkthrough of the pontoon and a suggested route; Captained Nature Cruise guests ride with an expert local captain who knows where the wildlife hides.
Pontoon boat rentals are the easiest way for families staying at the resort to get out on the water together — plenty of room for kids, coolers and towels, and calm river water that's comfortable for all ages.

Very often. Dolphins are regularly spotted on the St. Lucie River around the resort. The Captained Nature Cruise is your best chance, since your local captain knows where they feed, but jet ski riders see them regularly too. Dolphin season peaks October through May.
